Smetanas Musikpoem „Die Moldau" ist eine der bekanntesten symphonischen Kompositionen. Sie dauert ca. 12 Minuten. Die musikalische Geschichte beginnt mit der Beschreibung der beiden Quellen, die sich im Fluss vereinen; es folgen die Wälder, eine Jagdszene, eine Bauernhochzeit, das Mondlicht, der Tanz der Nymphen, die Stromschnellen der Johanniskirche und das Fließen der Moldau durch die Königsstadt Prag. In dieser Unterrichtsreihe entdecken die Schüler:innen die Musik, die Instrumente, die verschiedenen Szenen, einige alte Legenden und das Leben von Bedřich Smetana. Mit der Fortissimo-App bleibt die musikalische Reise am Fluss für immer in Erinnerung.
