COURSE
Vltava (the Moldau)

In this lesson series, we discover Smetana's symphonic poem 'Vltava' (also known as 'the Moldau'). The musical story begins with two streams joining together to form the river Vltava. There are many stops along the river: a hunting scene, a peasant wedding, and the royal city of Prague. Students will discover music and instruments, various scenes and old legends. They will also learn about life of Bedřich Smetana. With the Fortissimo app, they will embark on an unforgettable musical journey along the river.
