Musik, Serious Gaming und Konzentrationsfähigkeit – mit der App entdecken die Kinder die Magie der klassischen Musik mit interaktiven Spielen.
Activity 1
M9: My composition (hand out to each pupil)
Teacher:
"With your partner, create your own melody using the same notes we used to play the 'Morning Mood' melody. You can try to play your new melody on your instrument or to sing it. Once you have decided how your melody goes, place the coloured notes in your chosen order and stick them onto your composition worksheet (M9), so you can remember how to play your melody later. If you have time, practice playing or singing your melody again."
Activity 2
Pick a student to be the conductor and lead the class. Other pupils sit in pairs around the room, ready to sing or play their melody on their instrument.
Teacher:
"The conductor will move quietly around the room. When they stop in front of your pair, start singing or playing your melody on your instrument. When they start moving again, stop playing. There will be a pause until the conductor stops in front of a new pair. This will create an improvised melody through space!"
At the end, each individual composition can be played again and students can reflect on what they like about it.
Activity 3
Teacher:
"Stick your composition in your lap book. Make sure you glue it in the right place."
If there's still time...
… children can take a physical break (e.g. 15 jumping jacks, 10 squats, etc.).
… children can continue to decorate their lap books.
Skills learned in this lesson:
Students…
