Musik, Serious Gaming und Konzentrationsfähigkeit – mit der App entdecken die Kinder die Magie der klassischen Musik mit interaktiven Spielen.
Activity 1
The teacher provides the children with the link to the web version of the app. Each child plays the games of the 'Who is Figaro?' level independently. If some pupils complete the level quicker than others, they can always repeat their favourite games.
Teacher:
"There are lots of different games on the Fortissimo app: you can match sounds to pictures, do puzzles or play memory games. You might be asked to clap, jump, dance or move too. Feel free to stand up at any time to take part in the games."
Tip
If there aren’t enough tablets/ipads or computers for everyone, you can divide the class into two groups. Another option is for two or three children to work together on one device. If computers are close to each other, we would recommend using headphones.
Activity 2
After all the children have completed all the games of the 'Who is Figaro?' level on the Fortissimo app, ask: "Who is Figaro? What words can you use to describe volume in music? What’s the name of the piece of music you heard? What does 'Morning Mood' describe? Which games did you particularly like?"
If there's still time...
… children can play games in the ‘Who is Figaro?’ level of the Fortissimo app again.
Skills learned in this lesson:
Students...
… extend their knowledge of Morning Mood by playing the ‘Who is Figaro?’ level on the Fortissimo app.
… learn about the structure and the sound of the flute.
… dance along to 'Morning Mood'.
... learn musical terms used to express volume (piano, forte, crescendo, decrescendo).
