Task:
Over the centuries, many composers have been inspired by the sounds of nature. There are 5 stations around the room where you can listen to different pieces of music. On your worksheet, describe what you hear at each station and think about which natural phenomenon each piece might represent.

Task:
On the wall there are pictures of different nature scenes. Let's listen to each piece of music again. Look at the notes you took the first time you listened to each piece, then walk to the picture you think matches the music best.
After each piece of music (audio files from Activity 1), ask students why they chose a specific picture and why they think the music matches that particular picture.
